Receive the CSLG disk and load it in the drive on the Alphaserver.

On the system console, log in to account with full system privileges.

Issue these commands:

$MOUNT/OVER=ID ALPHA$DQB0

$@DQB0:[000000]CSLGMENU.COM

On menu, select #4 (Register Paks)

When this completes, select #5 (Exit)

$DISMOUNT ALPHA$DQB0

Unload the disk manually.

If you get this warning message:

%MOUNT-W-ALHOMEINV, invalid alternate home block on _alpha$dqb0:
%MOUNT-I-WRITELOCK, volume is write locked
%MOUNT-I-MOUNTED, CSLGJAN07 mounted on _ALPHA$DQB0:

don't despair, it's only a warning. The system will still read the correct "register pak" file. For extra security, you can copy the disk contents to a temporary directory on the Alpha before you begin, but this is probably not necessary.

You can remove old licenses using the following command:

$ LICENSE DELETE */STATUS=DISABLED
