Q. Does a copy of the grade report get emailed back to the instructor, in addition to the registrar?
Every time grades are changed, they are sent to the user who is currently accessing the record (ADVISORID). Since the grade entry area is only available to user with the “Faculty” role assigned, this is the faculty user who is entering grades (the field name is ADVISORID, but it doesn’t mean that it’s an advisor doing the data entry).
An email is only sent to the logical CC$GRADE_RECIPIENTS when the “final” grades are being submitted. This way, the user is always alerted to any grade changes that happen, but the registrar is only alerted when the final grades are submitted.
