While running a statement (-1 paper type), these messages appear.

The “invalid record number” system message in this case is only a warning, not an error.  It can be ignored.

The other message is an error message, i.e., the statement won’t run in interactive mode until all manually transmitted awards have been posted through FAXmit.

Further explation of the warning message:  Some changes were made during the summer to course section numbers.  Students were dropped from the old section and re-enrolled in the new one.  Then the old sections were removed from the COURSE file.  REG.DAT (the mother file) shows the drop, but when the statement analyzed the adds and drops (it always looks at the drops in case we have auto refund enabled), it found the drop but no corresponding COURSE record.  Thus, the warning.
