When students can't see statement online in CC


Unless there are Detached Statements running for 81, or 82, or 83 or 84, students cannot see their statements online.

Reg users are the first line of defense for preventing this problem in the future   They know when Detached Statements are running because when they log in they see the system prompt indicating which detached processes are running.  When detached processes are not running, and then a student calls to complain about not being able to see statement online, call SBR. 

SBR users need to either make sure these processes are always running or be prepared for the questions.  There could be times when you need to stop detached, and that’s okay as long as long as they are eventually restarted, esp the 8* series.  This command could be used to see if detached statements are running;

Currently, the CampusConnect system logical CC$BILL_RECEIVERS (which is used to define which detached statement programs CampusConnect uses for Account Status) is defined as with values of "81,82,83,84".

Currently, there are no detached statements running on your system.  This would explain why students (or faculty) would not be able to view student statements via the CampusConnect ACCOUNT STATUS option.

Once detached statement programs are brought up, there should be no problem.  Remember to name the detached statement programs with the numbers used in the CC$BILL_RECEIVERS system logical, or CampusConnect will not see them.
