Graduation Requirements for Master's Degree.

  1. Successful completion of 36 hours of credit in graduate level courses.
  2. Maintenance of grade point average of “B” or better in all coursework with no more than two courses completed with a grade of “C”.
  3. Completion of all coursework within three years of the date of initial enrollment.
  4. Completion of an individual action research project with a minimum grade of “B”.
  5. Completion of integrative team project with a minimum grade of “B”.

The students will be required to enroll in courses which relate to the projects in #4 and #5.  The course and the project are inseparable.  Therefore, the grade for the course is the grade for the project.

GPA is tracked in STDHIST, as well as the degree audit.

#1 and #2 are written into the degree audit file.

#3 is problematic for the system to track.  The STUDENT file has .expgraddate.  That field should be populated (manually) when the student is accepted and placed on the Degree Audit for visual inspection by the student and his/her advisor.
