HOW TO INSTALL and CONFIGURE

SKYLITE

(TERMINAL EMULATOR)

ON YOUR OFFICE PC

 

 

Before you begin:

·          Call 878-5616 or email flparkhill@stgregorys.edu for Registration Number  needed for installation.

·          Close all programs  because you may be prompted  to restart your computer.

 

 

Point your cursor to START, Run.

 

Enter the following in the box:  \\fs7\applications\Skylite

 

Click [OK].

 

Double click on Sky21.exe  to start the installation.

 

Click  “Next.”

 

At License Agreement:  select “Yes

 

At Customer Information:  

Enter “St. Gregory's University” as the business name.

Replace “Evaluation” with the registration number sent to you by system manager.

At the next 3 prompt boxes, accept all the defaults, then click on “Next.”

 

 

HOW TO CONFIGURE SKYLITE
TO RUN ON YOUR OFFICE PC

 

 

To configure Skylite, open Skylite and click on Configure, Session.

 

Select Windows Sockets and DEC VT320.  Then click on Properties.

 

 

In Host Name box, enter ADMIN.STGREGORYS.EDU, then click OK.

 

Click OK on all remaining screens to exit the configuration menu.

 

Pressing <enter> on your keyboard should bring up the POISE
system prompt for username.  If it does, log on with your POISE
username and password.

 

Save your changes.  Click on File, Save As.

 

Save to your Desktop, using a name of your choice.
