FISAP Instructions
1. Print copy of new year FISAP. (www.ifap.ed.gov, school portal, FISAP)
2. Pull last year’s copy of FISAP and reports
from filing cabinet.
3. Email Joanne for non-dup enrollment count for
last year. I also need an actual list of
the names of the students in the count.
4. Email Pamela for total of all tuition and
fees for last year.
5. Print Allocation Final Amount Letter from
FISAP.
6. Complete Part III, A-7 and A-8. You also need to complete Part VI and give
the Admin Cost Allowance amount to Gina w/ information in step 7.
7. Give Part III to Gina so she can complete
A-6. She will also need the end of year
reports from EDSI.
8. Run Edit report from FISAP Menu in POISE. (Remember
to change aidterm to last year’s code.) Compare the enrolled report that was
received by Joanne to the Edit report.
9. Change all enrolled to Y and non-enrolled can
stay blank or N. This field is in the
second screen of Maintain, Update.
10. Run GRID and
INCOME reports and fill in grids on FISAP for these areas. After the reports run, you have to go to your
directory in POISE and email them to yourself.
11. Get copy of 0405
PIL and CWS reports from payroll and calculate the amount of community service
dollars spent from CWS and complete the CWS section of the FISAP.
12. Complete all
remaining information on the FISAP. You
should have everything you need.
11. Log back into the
FISAP webpage thru www.ifap.ed.gov,
school portal, FISAP and complete the FISAP from your working copy.
12. Run Validate and
resolve any errors.
13. Print signature
information and get Fr. Lawrence’s signature.
14. Submit FISAP
before September 30.
15. Print copies of the FISAP for your file,
Pamela, and the auditor. Distribute
copies asap.
15. On Oct 31, you must go back into the FISAP
and enter the Perkins balance amount on line 1.2 of Part III, A-6.
16. It’s also a good time to resolve any edits
found by the DOE. If the FISAP hasn’t
been processed by them, you need to do this later, but you have a December
deadline, so don’t forget to go back and do it.
