We want to "un-cancel" a student who changed her mind and is coming back as an applicant, but Cancel Maintenance won't let us remove the cancellation date. What's the best procedure?
You have to actually delete the record from the Cancel Maintenance file.
This can be done by going to the Cancel Maintenance program. BUT, INSTEAD OF TYPING IN THE ID (SSN), YOU NEED TO FIRST EITHER HIT THE DELETE KEY OR TYPE /DELETE. The appropriate record must then be selected from the list of all ID’s in the Cancel Maintenance file (you can use PAGE DOWN to scroll a page at a time). Once the record is selected, it will ask if you want to delete this record.
The CANCELDATE and CANCELREASON fields in ADMMAIN are virtual fields, pointing to this file.
