SGU Help Desk Support Contract.

Overview:
A student may choose to purchase a service contract at the current Help Desk yearly service rate. This contract is for SGU approved and installed software* and SGU campus network support. Hardware support is not included with this service option and is additional at the hourly rate.
Details:
The SGU Help desk will provide approved and installed software* and SGU network support for the student listed above for one (1) full year from the activation date listed above. Network support may include email, printer, Internet, and general network issues. Network software support that is not provided may include, but is not limited to: games, chat software, email other than SGU accounts, file sharing software, web-browser support other than the installed applications that the Help Desk installs. SGU will not be held responsible for hardware problems due to work done on the above student’s computer while at the SGU Help Desk or support provided by SGU help desk employees outside the SGU Help Desk hours.
The SGU Help Desk may be able to provide additional support for hardware and non-approved or non-SGU installed software for an additional fee. Some repairs may be outside the scope of the SGU Help Desk’s capabilities. Please see the Help Desk for details.
This contract is not transferable. This contract is not renewable. The contract price will not be pro-rated if the student leaves the university before the contract period has expired.
Support by the Help Desk may be discontinued and a partial refund may be given back to the student if the SGU Help Desk manager feels that a refund is warranted.
All service provided by the SGU Help Desk is during normal Help Desk operating hours. Please see posted hours on the door of the Help Desk.
*SGU approved software support is for SGU Help Desk installed software. Check with the Help Desk for additional software titles currently being supported.
